Fall Fox Valley Online
On October 17 & 18, 2020 people from all over the country and the world will now be able to see and experience what antiques lovers in the greater Chicago area have known for more than six decades; that is, the Fox Valley Antiques Show – now online. An amazing mix of authentic antiques representing many centuries will be brought to market by hand-selected dealers from around the USA and Canada.
Typically hosted twice a year in St. Charles, Illinois by the Chicago Suburban Antiques Dealers Association, Covid-19 caused the group to pivot, selectively identifying an online venue for their dealers. Enter Marvin Getman, an experienced east coast show promoter who realized late last winter that his many shows would soon be canceled due to the pandemic. Working with a software developer he created a platform which has already become the gold standard for virtual shows.
Just one of the many unique features, exhibitors cannot see what other dealers have listed until the moment the show opens. Everyone has the opportunity to pick first!
The show will run a continuous 32 hours, from 10 a.m. CST Saturday, October 17 until 6 p.m. CST Sunday, October 18. Dealers from all over the country, some who have never before exhibited at in-person Chicago-area shows, will offer their very best at Fox! Getman’s platform makes it easy for dealers to display their merchandise in a user-friendly format. And the search capability makes it simple for customers to find items of interest whether searching by dealer, category, keyword, or price range. Customers deal directly with the dealer; no middle man.

The online show enables CSADA, a not-for-profit group, to continue their support of organizations devoted to historic preservation and educational pursuits.
